The Stars of Heaven & Lion Cubs Dance is a dance group for the youth in Israel and our goal is to inspire children of all ages to grow their talent in the performing arts, specifically dance. Whether a few months of training or a few years, these youth are taught that the Most High comes first and that we take care of each other. As their instructor, I pray they will continue to train, grow in their talents and stay grounded in the Most High.

All of the dance troupe students are excited and learning their new routines for upcoming events. Now with our more professional look, we hope to expand the number of performances we are able to present.

This vid has been a long time in the making. Had to do some soul-searching, however, one trip changed how I actually viewed my Son’s choice of art. It was truly a great road trip for us and a lesson in how to listen to each other and appreciate each other’s art form.
I used to think about how in the past there was something always special about the age of each of our children…..the baby years, the terrible twos, first year of school, graduation from grade school….and then look out!!! Nothing could have ever prepared me for having 4 teenagers.
Funny how the lesson learned was on me this time in finding the joy in the NOW and not yesterday’s memories or looking so far into the future. What was to be a simple dentist appointment for my oldest in Tel Aviv turned into a heart to heart moment that allowed me to see my son as just a unique and extremely creative and courageous individual with his own voice through his art. Please don’t ever forget to live in the NOW and always find something to be grateful for.

An update on what’s new with Beloved One Performing Group in Israel
We are a unique performing arts group in Israel specializing in poetry, song, and dance. We combine our individual talents to create a body of work telling stories of hope, love, unity, and freedom through spoken word, music, and dance. Our source of our talents is most definitely the Heavenly Father, all praises to Him!!! Take a look at what we do when we come together.
Beloved One is a performance group featuring Akilah Mosley “Lay”(far right), Nikia Browne“Nakiyah” (center) and yours truly, Monica Terry“Taptutor” (far left). We’ve performed our trio act of Poetry, Song and Dance for The Association of Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) which was hosted by the daughters of Adinah Dorfman (Elana & Aviva Dorfman), in Tel Aviv at the Levontin7 Club for a fund raiser event to give awareness and a place of safety to abused women, Bar Ilan University for a memorial and various occasions in our community. Although each of us has our own endeavors and performances outside of Beloved One, it’s a blessing to come together in unity to magnify the name of the Heavenly Father who gave us our talents.
From the oldest to the youngest dancer, the children that I teach are in much need of your support. As an up and coming new dance troupe in Israel with a small budget, we ask for your support in obtaining the following items: tap, ballet & jazz shoes, dance costumes, leotards, tights, and portable audio equipment that can be used on the go for upcoming dance performances.
