Oregano is in the mint family of herbs and is one of the most powerful. It has been used for thousands of years or more. It’s a very potent and healing herb that emerging research is showing in these current times many health benefits that modern society is just beginning to take advantage of. It can help in the healing of so many different illnesses and conditions such as but not limited to:
Acne, candida and other fundal infections, allergies, cold and flu, ear infections, bronchial and asthma, bladder infections, high LDL cholesterol, antiparasitic and more. You can use the herb fresh, dried or as the oil. There are supplements that you can buy but why not use it in it’s natural form? Nothing tops nature. By the way, if you have the dried oregano leaves, use 2 teaspoons per cup of water, let steep and strain, enjoy with lemon, ginger, mint and honey or whatever natural sweetener you desire. Start slowly with the oregano oil, perhaps 1 drop in a carrier oil such as coconut oil if used topically and 1 drop in your cup of tea or a few sips of water. There are no definitive studies yet for the oil dosing. You don’t want to suffer from overloading your body as the toxins will come out as you use this daily. You can increase the amount of oregano slowly as needed. It’s also great for fungus of the feet if you use a few drops in water (you may need to experiment with the amount but it has been shown to work). Consult your doctor as always before using any natural remedy or medications.

Many call Black Seed Oil ”Liquid Gold” and some have said that it cures everything except death. I heard about this Blackseed Oil for the first time through a great friend but didn’t seek it out immediately. As you may have heard in the above video, it is said to cure/ease so many things. I began using it as an anti-inflammatory and pain cure for arthritis, mainly for my back. The only drawback I can report about this amazing oil is that I suffered from constipation and had to put more effort into staying hydrated. I currently am using only one teaspoon a day and plan to continue this natural remedy.
Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Together

I take 1-2 ounces of lemon, 2 tablespoons of ACV in 16-20 ounces of water. I have not yet seen any drawbacks from this natural therapy. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

This change from a nearly meatless, animal-free diet has definitely been a learning process, but very rewarding. The main thing to remember is to GET STARTED and DON’T BE AFRAID to experiment in the kitchen. Try new things. I’m including a video below of Rachel Ama’s from her YouTube Channel. She has some amazing recipes. Also below I have posted a few pics of my own that my family and I enjoy daily. I do meal prep a few days out of the week to cut down on the cooking time and then begin to ”build a plate/bowl” so to speak. Remember to KEEP IT ALKALINE as much as possible and pack your meals with nutrients, BUY ORGANIC when possible and WASH produce, beans and grains.

How does it work
Some components in tumeric may help to decrease swelling (inflammation). Tumeric also has anti-oxidant properties which decrease free radicals that can damage the cells in our body.
Sources such as Web MD report that for most problems, tumeric has been used in doses of 500 mg twice a day and up to 500 mg four times a day. As with everything, it is not without side effects, however, I would rather use something natural that has been around for ages instead of popping a pill.
